Happy Holidays everyone!
Apologies for the silence on here. I had a few end-of-year posts planned, but it seems burning the candle at both ends all December, sending books out, and working on DARTZ, finally caught up with me just before Christmas, and I needed to rest and let my body heal a bit!
But I had cartoons for Stuff to do, so I’m lazily dropping them here for your enjoyment! The first one (above) was published last week, in response to the abysmal minimum wage increase (a measly 35 cents extra), which hit even harder when it was made clear we are in the worst recession we’ve had since 1991. This makes that $2.9 billion landlord tax break look even more tone deaf, a theme of this government since it took over.
Below, we have a post-Christmas cartoon, published today across Stuffs newspapers, Luxon as Santa, addressing some seasonal complaints.
I’ve got some fun comic ideas cooking that I’m going to crack into over the quiet holiday period, so stay tuned, otherwise, I hope you all are having a safe, relaxing holiday! Thank you all for your support this year, whether you’ve subscribed here, purchased a copy of the book, or shared nice things - it’s all meant so much!
